C.L.A.S.S. Will Celebrate 'A Decade Of Nurturing The Harvest'

Care Group will be celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary on June 20 with the theme 'A Decade of Nurturing the Harvest'. On the same event, certificates will be given to four sets of classes who had finished the course Christian Life and Service Seminar (C.L.A.S.S.). Some brethren will present “We Speak to Nations” of Lakewood as an offering. Sis. Marcelinda Iman and Bro. Lloyd Bermas laid their talents as they direct the song interpretation. Thanksgiving and distribution of certificates will be held at Gulf Gate Hotel. Assembly time will begin at five in the afternoon. Pastors are invited to be part of the fellowship. Leaders of other ministries will introduce their ministry to the graduates. Some brethren will give encouragement as they share their experiences in CLASS. (May-ann Medina)

Dr. Gilbert Montecastro Visits Bahrain Christian Fellowship

Dr. Gilbert Montecastro of Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary (PBTS) in Baguio City visits Bahrain Christian Fellowship to teach ‘Contemporary Views’ for the Seminary Education by Extension (SEE) students here in Bahrain. He ministered during the worship services and also to the Committed to You (c2u) during his stay here. Prior to coming here, he was at The Evangelical Church of Dubai where he taught ‘Contemporary Views’ and ‘New Testament Introduction’. |

Dr. Montercastro is a pastor's kid. He was born in Iloilo City but he grew up in Malabalay, Bukidnon, He grew up in the Church of Nazarene, but he was baptised a Baptist baptism. He finished his BTh from Visayan Nazarene Bible College (VNBC) in Cebu City. MDiv from Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) in Taytay, Rizal. ThM from Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary (ABGTS) in Baguio City. He was also a pastor of the Church of Nazarene in Iligan City. A senior pastor of the University Baptist Church (Baguio City) and a pulpit minister of the Church of God (Anderson) in Marulas, Valenzuela. . He taught at VNBC for five years, APNTS for four years before he moved to PBTS more than a year ago. At present he is a professor at PBTS where he also serves as the Interim Registrar. He is married to Merlita Paghubasan of Tacloban City and they have four children. Alice Grace, Gilbert II, Gilynne Grace and James Gilbert. (ACD)

June 12, 2008 is the day that the Lord has made for Julian Lua King and Malou Togonon as they finally tie their knots. For eight years of praying for each other Gods will and favor, they realized that they are meant for each other. As previously announced on this site, their wedding was officiated by Rev. Pastor Freddie Cudiamat of Bahrain Christian Fellowship at the Sanctuary of National Evangelical Church in Manama, Kingdom Of Bahrain. Witnessed by their friends, church members, and their respective brothers, Alex Togonon and Gerry Lua who flew from China and Qatar respectively. purposely for this occasion. After the, ceremony, visitors go directly to Elite Suite in Sanabis Area where cocktail served and followed by adult reception. A coordinated program was held hosted by the members of Knights For Jesus (K4J- Singles Ministry of BCF) where Malou was a former chairperson. (ACD) (more photos) |

Bible Study Teachers Seminar Part 1 Concluded

BCF training ministry had concluded its final phase for the Bible Study Teachers Training Seminar (Part I) last June 20. A question and answer session was allocated for the final day for the students to clear doubts about their subjects taken.The panelist composed of our Senior Pastor Freddie Cudiamat and all Area Pastors who conducted the training. |
The graduates will be utilized alternately to help their area pastors as teachers in Bible Study conducted in their respective area. Thanks God for the life of all student concerned for their willingness, time and efforts in serving God through the ministry of teaching as the harvest are plentiful but the workers are few. (ACD) |
