WORSHIP - to celebrate God's Presence
Let us pray with our Music Ministry that Jehovah Jireh will provide us with more numbers of faithful, available and teachable members to further beef up the rank of the music ministers as we shall be seems some more members leaving the country. We praise God for additional musical instruments purchased that can help further enhance our service. A new and welcome addition to the ministry is the Handiworks team, which had been well received. We hope the Eternal Music will again offer opportunities for budding lyricists to have their words of praises and adoration be set into music. The drama ministry that did not blossom for want of space for trainings may find this year a time to bud and bloom.
Area prayer meetings are being held regularly. However, our church-based prayer meetings attendance-wise need a very large room for improvement. A church that is not prayer based will not be a strong church. If we have to choose two ministries to be involved in due to some limitations, I strongly recommend that one of the two should be prayer ministry. This was how the first church grew. The principle remains. This is how BCF will keep on growing.
EVANGELISM - to communicate God's Word
We suffered in this aspect quantitative-wise. Though we understand that even one saved soul is precious, we want more to be brought to God's Kingdom. One reason will be the diminishing team members of the Care & Support. But remember, that witnessing is the responsibility' as well as the privilege of every saved person. If we, by God's grace and by our willing & active participation can bring at least one soul to Christ then we will witness better harvest. We want to see more visitors in the church and in the Bible Study centers being brought to the feet of our Savior.
FELLOWSHIP - to assimilate into God's family
There is an increase in terms of membership - both newborn believers and those brethren who came to Bahrain. This would mean more workers for the Lord and more souls that can be won through them. Testimonies abound how BCF had helped them to find a home away from home. This is very encouraging and glory to God. Though our general fellowships were to the minimum yet they were very well attended. Our Singles and Youth had contributed their share by bringing in to the fold their peers. The limited edition of the Home Builders had been resurrected in the organization C2U (Committed To You) that did not limit its membership of marriage couples. This was so with the intention that Men and Women Fellowship will be formed to meet their specific needs. But the two fellowships had not taken root yet due to the multiple involvements of perspective members.
DISCIPLESHIP - to educate God's people.
Several seminars were held all equally helpful, New Life Training Seminar Curriculum (NLTC) conducted by Filipino International Network, both Leadership Training and Advance Training. Regional/National Advanced Leadership Seminar from Haggai Institute. As far as Bible Study centers are concerned, attendance-wise, there is an increase. Though I believe that more brethren should be attending given the opportunity, as it will be helpful for them spiritually. Two new Bible Programs were added to increase Bible-awareness among members. We hope that we can challenged more members to join and be blessed. The Church School is doing their share in discipline the children .
MINISTRY - to demonstrate God's love
Once again, through your generous giving, we were able to contribute to the needs of the churches, local churches and individuals. The deeds done in various forms individually and as a church are God-honoring being done in God's Name.
