The Prayer Meeting Ministry

Praise and thanks to God for all BCF's “Prayer Warriors” for their continued support and dedication to this ministry being the “heating apparatus” of the church. May the God Almighty, in Christ's name, find you all faithful and continue to be a channel of blessing to everyone until HE comes again.

Prayer is an act of worship to God. As we pray, we speak to him in worship and we enter into spiritual communion with God.

When we commune to God in prayer, we submit ourselves to Him and we develop an attitude of humility. As praying Christians, the more clearly we see God's greatness, the easier it is to humble ourselves before Him in the absolute certainty that without Him all is lost. Humility in prayer not only cries out to God for mercy, it releases the power of God in a moment's time to deliver from the evil one. When we hold nothing back from God, He is free to grant us everything.

As we get to know our God deeper, we receive a burden from Him. The Father yearns for us to share his heart by spending time in His presence. When we lift up to God our concerns in prayer then, we see breakthroughs from peoples' lives being changed, broken relationships are restored, nations delivered from bondage, sick people being healed, salvation for the lost souls and many more

Prayer is a privilege God has granted us. It causes us to have a change of heart, compassion for the lost souls and to be merciful to those in need. We see ourselves transformed into God's likeness as we soak our concerns in prayer. God's main concern is His people and we must be sensitive to their needs.

Our patience is also strengthened as we wait upon the Lord's response to our prayers. “ Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

Therefore, I would like to urge all my co-servants to be part of the Prayer Ministry and through prayers we can make a difference.
