Biblical feast day celebrations were instituted by God as a system for remembrance. These times are usually identified for offering praise, thanksgiving and honor unto our heavenly Father for the specific acts He has done in the lives of the prophets, Israelites and other Biblical characters.
Indeed every major move of God in Biblical history occurred on a day that will be etched on the minds of His people as recorded in both Old and New Testaments. And this will also be our main point of goal as we celebrate BCF's anniversary.
This year our theme is "Worship…Our Lifestyle". As we commemorate the 22 years of BCF's existence let our perception for this celebration be remembering and honoring God for what He is and what He has done; the main purpose by which He had originally made us.
The festivity will start on February 26th with Prayer and Worship Night this will be a night of worship, prayer and thanksgiving. On March 1, BCF potential artists will share their God's given abilities which will be the "Talents Night". The culmination will be on the Friday Worship Service on March 2, 2007. Fun and Games will also be initiated by the Knight for Jesus to be held after the Friday service at the quadrangle. The celebration will end on Sunday Worship Service on the 4th of March.
Also, Chaplain Appu Varghese of the American Mission Hospital will be invited as our guest speaker to deliver God's message on our Friday worship services.
As we wait these days of celebration, let us all continue to pray for God's intervention to make all these activities possible. (Joe Ocampo)
