Bahrain Christian Fellowship Turns 22 Years

Biblical feast day celebrations were instituted by God as a system for remembrance. These times are usually identified for offering praise, thanksgiving and honor unto our heavenly Father for the specific acts He has done in the lives of the prophets, Israelites and other Biblical characters.

Indeed every major move of God in Biblical history occurred on a day that will be etched on the minds of His people as recorded in both Old and New Testaments. And this will also be our main point of goal as we celebrate BCF's anniversary.

This year our theme is "Worship…Our Lifestyle". As we commemorate the 22 years of BCF's existence let our perception for this celebration be remembering and honoring God for what He is and what He has done; the main purpose by which He had originally made us.

The festivity will start on February 26th with Prayer and Worship Night this will be a night of worship, prayer and thanksgiving. On March 1, BCF potential artists will share their God's given abilities which will be the "Talents Night". The culmination will be on the Friday Worship Service on March 2, 2007. Fun and Games will also be initiated by the Knight for Jesus to be held after the Friday service at the quadrangle. The celebration will end on Sunday Worship Service on the 4th of March.

Also, Chaplain Appu Varghese of the American Mission Hospital will be invited as our guest speaker to deliver God's message on our Friday worship services.

As we wait these days of celebration, let us all continue to pray for God's intervention to make all these activities possible. (Joe Ocampo)

Former Philippine Ambassador Visit Bahrain

Last February 3, 2007, former Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Rodolfo Dumapias passed by to visit us in line with his speaking engagement in UAE.

During his 4-day stay, he went to different churches and spoke about the Word of God. Also a dinner fellowship was held at the Best Western Hotel, Juffair. It was attended and shared by our fellow brethrens in Christ Jesus.

At the course of the diner a thanksgiving speech was made by the Ambassador for the prayers and support that had been given to him and his family especially during the "difficult times" they had encountered before transferring to Mexico last 2003. That night was indeed a day to reminisce and thank the Lord God for His wonderful works in the life Ambassador and to all of us who have been part of his journey here in Bahrain.(Watch Video ) (more photos)

BCF Acquire New Toyota Hilux Pick up

A new Toyota HiLux 2007 pick up has been added to the BCF transport Ministry. It was dedicated to the Lord during the Friday Worship Service held last 16 th of Feb 2007.

This will generally be used in transporting bulk church properties and equipments which cannot be accommodated by the present 16-seater vans. Another purpose of the pick-up will serve as a means of transportation for the evangelism ministry. The vehicle can also be used by any BCF member who needs help in transferring his/her belongings during relocation.

Thanks to all BCF brethren who are very generous and faithful in serving the Lord by giving their tithes, offerings and pledges wholeheartedly. The amount used to purchase the vehicle came from the excess funds collected by the church last 2006. Praise God for His Goodness.
